The GOP Party of the Century Rocks our Town of Annapolis — Standing Room Only as
Leaders and Locals Rally for The Annapolis Republican 2025 Slate!
Annapolis, MD — West Street came alive last night for what is already being hailed as “the party
of the century.” The sold-out, standing-room-only event drew an extraordinary crowd of
Maryland’s finest — from former Governor Bob Ehrlich who came out to endorse the Slate,
former MDGOP Chairman Dirk Haire who footed the bill for 25 Maryland Young Republicans, as
well as prominent Maryland politicos, local business titans, and civic leaders — all united in
support of The Annapolis Slate of Bobby O’Shea for Mayor, Ken Vincent of Ward 2, Jack
Papaleonti of Ward 5 and George Gallagher of Ward 6.
The evening celebrated the very best of Annapolis spirit, complete with Maryland flags waving
proudly, a dazzling array of locally donated foods, handcrafted cocktails, and a vibrant crowd
that filled the venue wall-to-wall.
The energy reached a high point when DJ Ben McNulty took the stage, spinning an irresistible
mix that kept the room hopping. As “Hail to the Chief” echoed through the room, Governor
Ehrlich made his entrance onto the stage to thunderous applause — a moment that brought the
crowd to its feet. Bob did not disappoint!
“There hasn’t been an event like this in Annapolis in the last century — and maybe ever,” said
one attendee, capturing the magic of the night. This also shows Republicans are tired of
operating clandestinely, “there are more of us than you’d imagine in a town run by only Dems”,
said another.
The event showcased party unity, pride of country, state & city, and passion that make
Annapolis, our state’s glorious Capital, one of Maryland’s most dynamic diverse communities —
and proved that when this city comes together, the result is unforgettable.
